Train tickets make quite delightful bookmarks, despite their tendency to slip out of books instead of properly marking your place. Best of all would be an old ticket to strange location found in a borrowed book. Or a charity shop book? Or a new book? Or between boobs? I can’t decide which would be better but I don’t think I’ll ever find a strange train ticket on my phone screen although I am “writing” this on my phone. I used to write a lot of things on paper but they never achieved form. I’ve slipped little messages into books in Foyles. Be the weird you want to see in the world.
